Dulux Trade transforms listed cottage

Dulux Trade Ecosure products make over holiday retreat

Rose Cottage, a grade II listed cottage in Fallowfield, Manchester, has been dramatically transformed into an award winning home with the help of Dulux Trade coatings.

The new owner worked with property renovation and interior design company Moregeous Design, who selected Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt in Gardenia for the bedrooms, hallway, kitchen and landing to create a light and fresh appearance. All internal woodwork and windows were treated with Dulux Trade Satinwood, again in Gardenia, as the finish gives a contemporary feel.

Explaining why Dulux Trade products were chosen for the project, owner of Moregeous Design, Sian Astley, said: "I wanted something that would keep the cottage looking fresh for years to come and ensure the colour scheme remains as pristine as the day it was applied."

Following the refurbishment, Rose Cottage was featured on the popular TV programme May the Best House Win and was awarded first place.
