Easier process to avoid auditing proposed
Painters and decorators could be helped by a government proposal to reduce business administration costs.
At the moment, small businesses must fill out reams of complicated paperwork to avoid being audited. However, new regulations will make the process much simpler.
Corporate Governance Minister, Edward Davey, said: "Over time, both the volume and costs of reporting requirements for UK companies have increased".
"Tackling these problems now will save small-to-medium businesses millions every year and give them more opportunities to expand and grow their business."
