Funding for 10,000 small business mentors
The Government has made funding available to recruit and train an additional 10,000 business mentors, as part of the 'Get Mentoring' scheme from the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI).
The scheme helps SME's develop as they start or grow their own business, by providing access to experienced and professional mentors.
Business minister Mark Prisk said: "Mentoring can deliver significant economic benefits from just a small commitment of time and resources. Building a relationship with a mentor can have a positive effect on your business, whether you are just starting up or are already established."
