A new website has been created to help people find the best professional contractors, including painters and decorators.

The website, RatedHammer.com, brings tradesmen, suppliers and hire-firms together in one place for people to choose from. It only includes professionals who have been checked to have valid liability insurance and quality assurance accreditation.

The website also lets customers rate the services they have received, helping future users make better decisions.
