ICI Paints Akzonobel goes hi-tech and high speed at the P&D Show

Visitors to this year's National Painting and Decorating were treated to a hi-tech and high speed experience from ICI Paints AkzoNobel, as the company unveiled its iPhone app for the first time and gave attendees the chance to let loose on its very own on-stand rally race track.

On stand, attendees had the chance to explore the new TradeXpress app, which offers handy features such as a product selector tool and a store locator. Professional decorators were also able to get advice on colour, new products and the company's Select Decorator programme from the Dulux Trade team throughout the two-day show.

Taking it up a gear, Dulux Trade also played host to a rally themed stand at the event to celebrate the company's sponsorship of the British Rally Championship in 2010, and continued support for 2011. Here visitors could test their driving skills against the clock on a giant scalextric-style racetrack, or sit behind the wheel of a real-life rally car.

And if that wasn't enough, the fun and games continued on the Glidden Trade stand, with the team hosting a hotly contested and highly popular darts competition to mark the link up with the WeLoveDarts.com championship.
