Women in charge of calling in tradesmen
A new survey has revealed that women are more likely to be responsible for calling in painters and decorators.
Men may think they're in charge around the house but the research, conducted by Checkatrade.com, shows that more often it's actually the women who pick which tradesman to hire.
Kevin Byrne, founder of Checkatrade.com, said: "When we talk to our trade members they state that the initial call to them is almost always from a woman. They are savvy and very careful about how they choose tradespeople."
